I met Gerry - Sister Mary Douglas in September, 1945.I was in second grade at St. Patrick's School, Fort Hamilton - Brooklyn and she was my teacher for the year. She was tall and we enjoyed her class. She led the singing at the 9 o'clock Mass each Sunday. I was fortunate enough to have Gerry once again in 5A. Our paths crossed many times over the years. It was my privlege to visit with her many times while she resided at Maria Regina and pray the Dominican blessing with her. May God bless Gerry and all whose lives she touched.
