Dottie Akin was our Instructor @ Pilgrim from 1965-68. She was bright, witty, strong, intelligent & had such an excellent command of what she taught-the GI tract. Speaking for my classmates & myself, we are very grateful to her for all that she gave us. A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure to meet her again while she was a patient @ St Cathrine's & I was teaching- student nurses. I re-lived some old memories with her, & she thanked me for making an awful hospital stay a wonderful experience- that was a gift she gave me. Rest in Peace Dear Dottie, & thankyou again for making us all such wonderful nurses.
