I am so sadden to learn of the passing of my neighbor and family friend Mr.Gatto.
My memories of Mr.Gatto would be when I was young, I remember, he would walk around the corner visit with my Dad. They would sit on our stoop and talk and talk, it seem like a very long time!
As I got older he would pass our house and always beep and wave and most of the time stop the car, just to ask how everyone was! He was amazing to me, I always thought to myself what a thoughtful thing to do. But,that was just what kind of person he was.
I had the honor to be invited to a suprise Birthday Party that his children were giving him. It was a day filled with sunshine,love, laughter, family and friends! He was so happy that day, and enjoyed everyones company! That is the day I will always remember and cherish. However,if you ever were behind him in the car, let us not forget "RUHAPPY" THAT SAID IT ALL!
