Smith-Linda Anne, on July 18, 2011, daughter of the late Senator Bernard C Smith and the late Elizabeth (Betsy) Smith. Linda died of coronary complications during a stay at Camp Loyaltown, a summer camp for people with disabilities, in Tannersville, NY. Linda was born with Downs Syndrome and inspired many people over her 46 years of life to understand and appreciate the value and love that handicapped people can bring to the lives of others. She had lived for the past ten years at the ACLD Group Home in Northport and is survived by her four brothers, Chip, Terry, Craig and Tim, her sisters-in-law Lynn, Cynthia, Jean and Jennifer and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be at the Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport on Friday 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral services 10am Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church, Northport, burial Northport Rural Cemetery.
