I wish I could have made it down to Long Island with Bill for the service. Lisa, Matt, Hallye and Juliana you are all in my thoughts and prayers. We always so enjoyed seeing Doug when he came upstate. He was such a fun and caring individual. We will miss him dearly.
I have had the pleasure of being Doug's customer for over twelve years. Working with Doug has always been a pleasure, I am going to miss him greatly. My sincere condolences to Doug's whole family and firends.
I met Doug through business. He had a manner that made you like him with ease. He was a gentleman first in everything we dealt with. My family and colleagues offer our thoughts and prayers to Doug's family.
I had the pleasure of enjoying Doug's friendship for over 30 years! Whether playing high school soccer, traveling through Europe, or catching up with each other after too much time had passed, we laughed easily and often. He let me know that he valued my friendship. I always appreciated him for that. At gatherings and among a group of people the camaraderie that would inevitably result were largely due to him, and his indomitable spirit. Doug was an all-time favorite of mine, and I will miss him terribly for the rest of my life. Godspeed to a great pal! Love, Matty J
Doug will always be in my heart as my cousin, my brother and my best bud. He worked with Lisa every day, as his children's guiding light and he will continue to bring a smile to everyone's face by the mere mention of his name.
I love you so much REXY and we will travel and play again some day.
I went to college at Catholic U. with Doug and was one of his roommates during our junior and senior years. I will always remember how much he studied. He played hard but was very serious about school. We had many great times together in college. We will all miss him terribly. My prayers are with his family.
