Mechanical Engineers Degree from Polytechnic University of N.Y. 1947. Member of Frost Valley Trailwalkers, Florham Park Woodcarvers, Union County Hiking Club, New Jersey Canal Society, and Tri State Chapter of National Railway Historical Society. Loving husband of the late Margaret, his former wife Mary, and longtime dear friend and companion Dorothy Whitmore. Devoted father of John H. of Northport NY, and Joan Churnetski of Holliston Mass. Fond brother of Pauline Syler Ft. Myers FL. Also survived by Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services Friday February 3rd, 12 noon at Trinity United Methodist Church, 213 Main St. Hackettstown, NJ. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown NJ.
