Aunt Tess was an amazing Great-Aunt to me. Whenever my family visited her or went to her famous fourth of july party, she'd always make us feel right at home, and would do anything for you. She truly showed how important and great family is, I'll never forget that <3 She also had a wonderful sense of humor, wit, and 'tell-it-like-it-is' personality. I miss it already. A few days before she passed away, my family visited her in Hospice House; I went right up to her, and in bed and as sick as she was, she happily exclaimed "Oh my Alyssa! You're so pretty! I love your hair! And hold my handdddd!" I held her hand, such a unforgettable touching moment. That night was also the last night I ever saw her. (Thursday, February 16, 2012) My dad and Doris and myself sat in her room until about 10:30 that night. When we finally left, the last thing she ever said to me was "I love you honey" I had tears straming down my cheecks. And last but not least, her wake. You might ask, how in Gods name is that memorable enough to bring up? But I felt the need to do this~ Since she loved my long wavey blonde hair so much, I actually ripped a piece of it out when I was up at her cascett and placed it with much love in her hair :) I don't know why, but I just felt the need to do so <3 I guess it's kind of with her forever~
God Bless, Aunt Tess <3 Forever in our hearts, I miss you soo much <3 xoxoxo
