Schoenfelder - Edward J. of Woodside, Queens, was born in Williamsburg, April 30, 1943. Beloved brother to Joseph (Maria) and Uncle to Jason (Samantha), Scott (Emily) and Brian (Deirdre). Great Uncle to Ava, Duncan, Margaret, Cora, Carmine and Eliza. Ed was a veteran of the Vietnamera and served with the US Army at the Nike Battery in Rocky Point in the late 60s. He worked as a Communications Worker for over 30 years. He was an avid Corvette enthusiast, a fisherman and a member of the National Rifle Association and the American Legion. Ed was a proud American historian and was charitable to many historical organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations to the V.N.S. Hospice "Hospice House", 505 Main Street, Northport, NY 11768, would be appreciated.
