So sorry for your loss he was a sweet man. I got to know him just recently at his dental visits but a long time I've known Phillip from H.S. In our chats he loved you all so much! Again my condolences to the family.

I was privileged to grow up in Northport surrounded by loving family and positive role models like Uncle Jerry. He served his country during WW II, then returned to Northport to raise a family. I remember attending his wedding to lovely Anne. During the heyday of baseball in a city divided between the NY Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers, Jerry was one of the few fans of the NY Baseball Giants. He worked for the Veterans Administration and served the community in the Police Auxiliary. Uncle Jerry was always available to serve family members be it housing projects or health issues. I will always be thankful to Jerry and Anne for providing a loving home for my father for a period of time during his later years. Jerry quietly set a positive example of Christian love through his actions. He even filled in on the softball field for Nunzie's Mets in late Spring when some of the regular team members were still away at college. I always enjoyed his company, especially at family gatherings and rounds of golf. I know that he is now teeing it up in Heaven. Thank you Uncle Jerry for your example and your many acts of kindness. Love, John, Judy and Family

Uncle Gene was always wonderful to us as children. He would encourage us to sneak an extra cookie or piece of cake . I always enjoyed going to their home for a party Aunt Anne and Uncle Gene had the greatest food. He would teach us Bocce and actually spend time and play with us . I am sure everyone will have a similar story for such a sweet man . I will always remember how nice he was to everyone Love James and Maureen
