Levanti, Salvatore, J. on September 18, 2016, in his 88thyear, of East Northport. Beloved husband of Elsie. Loving father of Ellen M. Levanti Daly, and Gary Levanti and his wife Virginia. Fond grandfather of Danielle Levanti and Zachary J. Daly. Electrical engineer and educator by profession and nature. He was a proud Cold War Vet and enjoyed long friendships with many fellow veterans of foreign wars. He looked forward to his regular nickel poker game with the vets and swims at the VA pool. He was in the secure spiritual support of many members of the faith community including the Missionary Sisters of St. Benedict.
