Dear Jill Jimmy and Jackie and all the Grands
Experiencing the death of a parent is so personal that very few of us can understand the grief involved. Perhaps it will help too ease your sadness to know your dad was the best friend I could ever ask for. For close to forty years he would share stories of World War 2 but mostly each step of his grand children's growing up days. Each one with their individual gifts and paths of life that they choose, he was so proud. The stories came with a large glass of beer and a cup of tea, my job was to make him laugh and listen to his wisdom and intellect. Joe was proud often stubborn as a Mull, but not a foolish man. Jill, Jimmy, Jackie lots of hugs for your strength and love to your Dad. I shall miss him very much but I know he is in a better place rather he likes it or not.
Many blessings to all and thanks for sharing Joe.
