I am terribly sad to hear of Stephen's passing. He and I used to have lunch every month when he worked in the City. I knew him for 35+ years. We continued to do a bit of business together over the phone and would chat for hours. He had told me he was ailing and i hadn't heard back from him. What can I say but that I will miss him. He never said a bad word about anyone. He is missed.

We have been good friends and neighbors with Steve, Fran and the whole family for over 30 years including his 3 children that grew up during that time. . They all have been just wonderful people and we will miss Steve so much, his humor, willingness to help anyone, genuine personality plus he was a true rock of our neighborhood. He loved his family so very much as will as the dogs he had over the years. Most were rare breeds and in fact just a few years ago following research he flew to Finland and then drove miles to a remote corner to get a pure breed that was quite rare in the U.S. Steven was one of a kind and a true gem of a man. We will miss him very much.
