Obituary of Edwin F. Cavanagh

Cavanagh – Edwin F., 76, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Fort Salonga, NY, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He was born in Long Island, New York to the late Edwin and Dolores Cavanagh. Ed served in the United States Army. He was an avid golfer and also the proprietor of Larkfield Lanes in East Northport. Family was extremely important to Ed and he enjoyed spending time with them. Beloved husband of 52 years to Patricia. Loving father of Jim (Laurie) and Bob (Cathy). Cherished grandfather of Zachary, Jordan Grace, Keira and Amanda. Fond brother of Joyce Riess. Family & friends will gather for visitation, Wednesday, May 3rd, 2-5 & 7-9 PM, Prayer Service 8 PM, at Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Ave, Northport. In lieu of flowers donations to either the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Association, in his memory would be appreciated.
