Folkerts, Heiko Hio, of Head of the Harbor unexpectedly passed on July 4th, 2017. Beloved husband of Diane B. Folkerts. Loving father of Shaun H. Folkerts (Nancy), Heiko C. Folkerts (Courtney), Kersten Folkerts, Lars Folkerts and Imke Folkerts. Fond grandfather of Heiko, Ethan and Madelyn Folkerts. Adoring son of Thea Folkerts and the late Gerriet Folkerts. Caring brother of Gerriet Folkerts (Beth), Meta Folkerts-Lippold (Rolf), and Bernie Folkerts (Lynn). Reposing Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue Northport Saturday 2-5 & 7-9 PM, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at the Funeral Home.
