Obituary of Maureen Korrow

Korrow, Maureen (Micki) – Passed away peacefully on Dec. 1, 2017 under the loving care of St. Johnland Nursing Center in Kings Park. Kind, loving and selfless are just a few words describing Micki. Born in Mineola, NY on Aug. 8, 1950 to William and Ellen Korrow. Micki grew up in Huntington, NY and resided in Northport, NY with her best friend prior to her later years at St. Johnland. A music enthusiast; she was an excellent, medal-winning clarinet player while attending Huntington High School. Micki also had a great mechanical ability and was a proud employee of Grumman. She led a very active life prior to problems associated with Multiple Sclerosis. Friends may visit Wednesday, Dec. 6, Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Ave, Northport, 7-9 PM, with a prayer service at 8 PM. In lieu of flowers Micki would have definitely been pleased if you would donate to the Long Island Chapter of the National MS Society, 1 Huntington Quadrangle, Suite 1S06, Melville, NY 11747 (http://www.nmssli.org) who aided her in the past with her problems associated with MS.
