Cannon, Robert J. on April 13, 2018, on his 94th birthday, of Northport. Robert was a proud W.W. II Marine, who fought at Iwo Jima, received the Purple Heart, twice and the Gold Star. Loving father of Robert J. Cannon, Jr. Caring Step father of Frank Lanzer, Kevin Lanzer and John Lanzer. Bob was very active in the Northport Community. Visitation Wednesday 2-5 & 7-9 PM at Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue Northport. U.S. Marine Military Honors at 7:30PM, with words of remembrance to follow. Cremation was private.
