We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Margery - we never met, because we live in the Uk - and are only distant relations. Please accept our condolences at such a sad time. I found out about Margery from her email to the Mary Mary website at Manchester UK, and now I really wish thet I had made the contact a few years ago! Our family link is through the Coates/Hope families - Margerys grandfather was Adrian Coates, and my husbands grandfather was his brother Norman Coates. So you see that Margery would have been very interested to hear from us, and thet I really regret. We would love to hear from someone over the pond ..... Kind regards Mary

Professor Brown was an incredible Professor and person. She was always so kind and generous and she truly cared about her students. She is one of the best professors I have had since being in college. If it wasn’t for her kindness and her love for her students I wouldn’t have been able to graduate this semester. Thank you for being such a wonderful professor and you will truly be missed.

Margery was a member of our gym Forever Fit in Centerport for over 20 years. Everyone at the gym knew Margery and she will be sorely missed. We used to joke that our birthdays were only 1 day apart. Our prayers go out to her family.

So sorry to learn of Marg's passing. Before I retired, when our schedules jibed, we used to talk about sci-fi, novels, fan fiction, and pop culture. My daughter and her kids were the same/close in age, and we shared many laughs, work stories, and fun. I've missed her in my retirement, and hope her passing was peaceful. God rest her.
