June was a very special person. She became a friend to everyone she met...if only once. She was strong, steady, courageous and especially, gracious. I will miss her greatly, but am heartened to know that she is now with Paul, her husband, her father and mother....... now all together in The Place Jesus has prepared for all who love Him so He can be with them and they with Him.

I first met June when I was hired to work as her assistant at New Discovery. A dear friendship had begun. She was a special woman. My first marriage in 1980 was at Abiding Presence. We often laughed to the idea that she may have been in the choir singing that day, 20 years before we even met. She will be missed and many prayers for Michael and the family.

I am so sad to say goodbye to my dear friend. But I know we will sing together again in the heavenly choir. She was an inspiration to me, especially the way she used her gifts to teach the little ones about Jesus. She expressed the fruit of the spirit in her life. June was a kind, compassionate, loving, forgiving servant of the Lord. I will keep you all, especially Michael, in my prayers for peace, comfort and happy memories.

June was a wonderful, sweet person. My family knew June through our church since 1981. She was always so soft spoken and calm. I saw her not that long ago, when she came for a visit. I always admired her. Prayers for the family from the Mortimer and Fortunato Families.
