I always loved Aunt Eileen’s beautiful smile and those gorgeous dimples! I will miss her terribly. I loved sharing family time together and thought Aunt Eileen and Uncle John were the perfect couple. Visits were happy. I am so sad for her loss. Thinking of all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Aunt Eileen was such a beautiful and generous person. Our families have had so many wonderful times together. I recall the time Aunt Eileen and Uncle John came up for New Year’s Eve when we lived in CT. It was exactly a week before my dad passed away. But we had the best celebration all together. Aunt Eileen was always there for my mom after my dad passed, and I will be forever grateful. Aunt Eileen will be deeply missed by so many because she touched so many lives in such a beautiful way. Rest In Peace, Aunt Eileen. I love you.

Words can't adequately convey the depth of love and gratitude I feel for my best friend, affectionately known as "short legs". Her passing has left a void that is impossible to fill. She was always there for me, comforting me in times of sorrow, lending a hand without hesitation in times of need, and joining me in laughter in times of joy. We shared an unspoken bond and I always knew I could count on her. No request was ever denied-sitting in a nursing home with my mother when I couldn't be there, making a trip to Boston to comfort me while Stan was being treated for cancer, making certain I continued to be included on vacations after Stan passed, constantly making me feel part of her family traditions, the list could go on forever. We shared so many memorable vacations and trips to the casinos together. We watched our children grow up and become the amazing women they are today. We shared the joy of the births of our grandchildren and agreed they were our most precious gifts. Eileen's honesty, kindness, and generosity were unsurpassed. She was a rare treasure and someone who enriched my life. She may not be physically here, but she will live on forever in my heart.

I’ve known Mrs. Dresch for about as long as I’ve been alive. If I wasn’t at my house or the Emmons house, I was at the Dresch house. Christina and I spent birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, graduations and pretty much every weekend growing up together at each other’s houses, and Mrs. Dresch treated me like a daughter. That’s how I will always remember her- as my Other Mom. I am so grateful for having her in my life, because I know I am a better person for knowing her.

They say that Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, and Love leaves a memory no one can steal. I was fortunate enough to be welcomed into the Dresch family by association with my lovely bride Cat, who grew up with Christina. There was no such thing as a stranger in their home. John and Eileen treated me as a wayward (if irregularly behaved) relative. I spent enough holidays and barbecues at their house to feel loved and welcome... not just a guest - able to help with the dishes and leftovers. There’s a sound of generations of family talking and laughing over each other that can properly be described as Joy. Many of my favorite family memories were spent awash in the joy of Eileen’s household. It was an honor to be welcomed into her family and may you be comforted in the cherished memories she left behind.
