Obituary of Karen L. Fisher

Fisher, Karen L. - On September 5, 2019, of Floral Park, formerly of East Hampton, 55 years of age. Survived by her children, Erica (Kieran) Glackin, Brian Fisher and Matthew Fisher; her sisters, Eileen B. Sebold, Anne (Johnny) Wolfe, and Kathy (Mike) McGovern; and her niece & nephews, Meghan, Danny, Nic, Sean, Tyler, and Garrett. Memorial service in the Chapel at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Centerport, with Rev. Msgr. John Gilmartin officiating on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 1:30 PM.

• Karen’s strength and faith helped her triumph over breast cancer and this foundation will help to support so many trying to do the same.

Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center (littleshelter.org/)

• Karen would rescue injured birds and wildlife from a very young age.  She loved animals and her daughter has rescue dogs from this very shelter which does amazing work!

Random Acts of Flowers (randomactsofflowers.org/)

• This organization brings joy, healing and kindness to those in hospitals and hospice by repurposing gently used flowers.  Karen adored flowers and was so kind.
