Karen had a heart of gold and touched so many people with her kindness. The first time I met Karen was by accident when my dog Daisy got loose out of my yard early one morning and was roaming around in the neighborhood. I ran out my front door in a panic to go find my dog and there was Karen with a smile on her face holding my dog that she had just rescued. We hit it off from there! We both loved dogs and loved to talk about flowers. Her backyard was so special with all her beautiful flowers and her koi pond. She even touched the lives of my twin boys. She always made them smile with her fun stories and they loved to see her on Halloween. During Christmas time she would always leave a little treat for them on our doorstep without anyone knowing. Karen was just that kind of person, and we will cherish her wonderful memories forever.

Karen was the kindest, sweetest and most giving person, who’s smile lit up a room. She had such enthusiasm for life and for the people in her life, always showing us her warmth, strength and courage. She served her community, loved animals and nature. Her spirit and love is eternal and we were sincerely honored she was our friend. Condolences to all that loved her.

Karen was a wonderful neighbor! She was a giver. She was kind to our family. Every single Christmas Eve she stopped by with sparkling cider and baked goodies that were always fantastic!! Karen loved her Ken and her nephews more than anything. God bless you friend, we love you.
