It is with sadness that I learned of Richard’s passing. My earliest and fondness memories of Richard go back to the mid-1940s. As little boys growing up in Floral Park, we played together. As he was three years older than I was, I looked up to him as my older, more-learned cousin. I enjoyed Richard’s company. He was very personable, like his father. Unfortunately, during subsequent years, visits became less frequent as our lives took us along different paths. Richard will be missed.
