To Barb and Richard and entire family. I personally felt connected to your dad as he was diagnosed the exact same week my brother Pat was. They both had the same cancer, treatments, radiations, tests, complications, setbacks, hospitalizations, etc and almost to the same week sometimes. Sadly both these brave men fought a battle that could not be won but for sure they will on in our hearts and thoughts and we will always remember them for their bravery for their families. Mr.Lester, sir I truly felt like I knew you and constantly offered prayers in your name. May you rest in eternal peace. God Bless you.

The year was 1989 my mom (Ellen uncle Richie sister) and my 4 sisters was having a pj party at my house My mom went to the bath room and came out to say there is a flood in the bath room water was coming out of every bath room n in the house all 5 bathrooms my mom said call uncle Richie he will come mind you it was 10 pm or so on a Saturday so I called he came and I think he came with one of his son I don’t remember witch one I think it was Michael . My mom, me and all my sister follow him to the basement to out surprise it was flooded to sewer back up we all started to laugh n uncle Richie ask me if I had a ladder so I brought him a step ladder he started to laugh and said wtf am I going to do with this fn ladder we could not stop laughing.i said no I don’t have a big one he said I guest this will do he got on the step ladder and I put both of my hands on the cheeks of his ass and he said what are you doing mind you he was laughing so hard he couldn’t get his words straight I told him I’m holding you up so that you don’t fall .i will never forget that day at 170 burrs lane dix hills LI. THIS MADE OUR NIGHT HAVING UNCLE RICHIE TO FIX THE PLUMBING. I LOVE YOU UNCLE RICHIE forever in my prays Edwina (wina) sleep in forever peace
