I'm so sorry to learn of Mrs. Peters' passing. She was a beautiful soul, my parents (Jim and Fran McKenna) always enjoyed seeing you both in church and around town. I'll keep you in my prayers. - Kathleen McKenna Morgan

Dear John, we are so sorry to learn about Joan's passing . She was truly an example of Christian living. We at St. Philip Neri will truly miss her but so very fortunate to have known her. Since we are presently in Florida we are unable to give our condolences in person.

For many years Aunt Joan was like a second mother to me, and was definitely a role model as both a mother and Christian. Her determination to see the best in people and situations was a trait that I'm still trying to live out in my own life. I was always in awe of her generous spirit...and I know heaven is rejoicing to have her there. As much as I'll miss her on earth, I'm grateful that she is once again healthy and whole, and in a better place. Sending tight hugs to Uncle John and my cousins...

Dear John and Family
I extend my sincere prayers and sympathy of your tremendous loss. Yes we have lost a beautiful soul. Our loss is heaven’s gain and I can state that we have a living saint praying for us in heaven.
My first encounter with Peters’ family when I came from India to St. Philip Neri parish as a summer help. Not only Fr. Peter Garry, Msgr. Tom Colgan embraced in the parish but the so many other parish families especially Joana and John Peters. Over the years I have learnt the American way of life and the spirituality from this family. Joan was an extremely spiritual and religious. Believed in the core teaching of the church. Always convinced people with her gentle and graceful way. Over the years, they have so many lives they have touched by the Love of Christ. Joan you truly demonstrated the Love of God and Neighbor by your way of Life (Words, Actions and Deeds). The Heaven is belongs to you. Pray for us and one day we shall see you with that same beautiful contagious SMILE.
Rest into the Gentle and Ever Loving Arms of our Creator God.
