Obituary of Marilyn A. Gray
Marilyn Ann Gray passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 4, 2020.
She was born to Mary and Frank Russo on July 6, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up in Whitestone, NY. Marilyn married the love of her life, Bob, on May 2, 1959. After they married, they moved to Long Island where they raised their family. They were happily married for 33 years. Family was the most important thing to Marilyn and she beamed with joy when she was around them. Marilyn will always be remembered for her loving nature, her dedication to family, her kindness and her passion for life. Her smile was contagious and she brightened every room she entered.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob. She is survived by her 3 children, Robert Gray (Pam), Janice Lindsey (Greg/deceased), Joanne Gray (Hayden) all who loved her very much. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Robert, Dana (Brandon), Alexander, Matthew, Christopher and 1 great granddaughter, Nora Marie, all her greatest joys. Marilyn was also blessed with 3 sisters Phyllis Vuono, Rose Barnett (deceased), and Frances Russo (deceased) as well as loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of long time friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
