Andrews, Mary A. of Northport on October 2, 2013, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles "Duke". Devoted mother of Brent, Norman, Lori (Paul Lokay), and Arn. Loving Sister In-law and traveling companion of Diane and Ed Couleur, aunt to their children Dana, Douglas, Lloyd and Chris; cousin in-law of Fred Pisacane, husband to her cousin the late Marjorie (and their children Jean, Fred, Frank, Louis, Carl and Paul) also of the Schmuck family from her beloved Greenpoint, her home until she married, and still the home of her spirit. A graduate of St Anthony's HS and St Joseph's with an MA in early childhood education, devoted to all children, she was a mother and grandmother figure to many, especially her extended family grandchildren Jackson D'Antonio; Mariam and Kezi Coronna. Her door and heart were always open... Her kindness and wisdom will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Visiting Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, Saturday 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Burial will be Monday in Oak Brook Illinois with her husband and baby daughter Elizabeth.
