I first met Lou when I brought Communion to Dorothy. The three of us often talked about cooking and favorite foods. He found out that my grandson, Kenneth, loved to bake and invited him over to help fill cannoli. It was an awesome experience for Kenneth and truly exemplified the loving and sharing man that Lou was. Know that he lives in the hearts of all who met him. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Dear Nick, Mike & Family, I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. I will always cherish the fond memories I have of him coming to the mason yard for supplies when I was a child and would come to work with my father. More recently I had connected with him again where I work at the VA Dental Clinic when he came in for treatment. He was well liked and admired throughout the Hospital and known famously for his exquisitely made cannolis that he delivered to all the clinics at Christmas time! He will truly be missed. My deepest condolences to your family for your loss. Fondly Debbie Cavagnaro

He was a force of nature and easily injected into your heart forever. He had a trick for every problem and a solution for anything that you didn't know was a problem. He was an equal opportunity host. He made you grateful that he gave you a job to do when you visited. I got fence painting. I was honored. He was annoyed I wouldn't pull my motor home into his driveway and mooch his electricity. He welcomed everybody and anybody into his home and fed us all. I liked the veggie sandwiches the best. The only bread I ate when I was carb free. He could sit and tell you stories forever and I could listen for just as long. Some of the stories made you laugh and some made you blush. Some took you to times long ago where he lived his version of the American Dream to its fullest. He did it all with his whole heart. He loved his wife and made sure she was well cared for. He loved his children and created very successful adults. He loved his family more than many people I have known in my life. He was tough when he had to be and soft when the time was right. I only knew Louie for a few years but I believe I knew him well. I couldn't have loved him more. My love and condolences to my Linda and Michael, Helen and Nick. Estelle

I tried to post my tribute to Mr Prochilo as I’ve known him all my life! The most gracious man I’ve ever known! I added more but I couldn’t figure out the posting part so I lost it!! When I say I’ve known him all my life it’s a true story because I’ve been watching for many years now through his children that he loved so much! The only thing that gives me comfort is that he’s back with his gorgeous wife! RIP Lou!! I’m honored to know you and your children xoxo
