I knew Bob for many years while working for the former Long Island Lighting Company (LILCO). Bob was a kind, friendly and soft spoken man who greeted me with a smile each and every time I saw him. He always had a few words of encouragement for me which would help to turn a bad day into a good day. I also remember the great work he did for charitable causes and fund raising efforts through the various employee / retiree organizations.
I will cherish his memory. Please accept my sincere condolences at this very difficult time.
