I met Lynn 61 years ago when her brother Peter and I started at Chaminade HS. Lynn had a bigger than life personality and was gracious and friendly to everyone. Deeply religious, Ev and I would see Lynn every Sunday at Mass where she ushered and Ev sang in the choir. Lynn is the epitome of a life lived to it’s fullest. Sincere condolences to the Henningsen and Eisenhauer families from all the Darby’s.

We met Lynn and John while living in Huntington Beach many decades ago. It is a privilege to call them our friends! Oh, so many fond memories and good times shared. Pavilion beach parties under the stars enjoying Tommy Carter's quartet, singing and dancing to "Joy to the World"; tennis partners playing matches in Huntington ladies ladder; seeing Jimmy Connors and Margaret Court play the US Open in Forest Hills; Yankee Stadium NY Giants vs brother Larry's New England Patriots game on a frigid winter day when a hot toddy was most welcome; bus trip to Yale Bowl in New Haven, CT on sweltering 99 degree summer day to watch NY Giants vs NY Jets football complete with fights in the stands. Grateful to make it home safely. Thirty years fly by and we met Lynn and John, Mary Ann and Jerry Feenan during winter in Florida. The guys went fishing, the gals went exploring Palm Beach and during the evening meal we reminisced of many years raising our children in Huntington Beach. Lynn always loved a good party with lots of dancing and laughter. She was a wonderful story teller, too. We know we are blessed to have Lynn and John as friends for so many years. So, to John, Dana, David and Holli and family, we share your deep sorrow, but we know in our hearts that Lynn lived life to the fullest, may she rest in peace.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your Wife, Mother, Mirmum, Aunt and friend. I have many fond memories of Mrs. Henningsen from spending time at her house with my friend Dana. She truly had a love of life and family. May she find eternal joy and comfort in the arms of the Lord.

Blessings to all,
It has been our pleasure to know such a lovely Lady, our fiend, Lynn...,she was always so elegant/full of fun, . My son, Danny, now in his fifties, was over visiting today and we talked about how it was to grow u in Huntington Beach with friends and family watching our for you. and.... Oh, those great beach/house parties .!!!!!! ..it was a magical time for all of us . We moved away and sort of lost track of everyone, but those wonderful memories linger. We really look forward to the memorial to talk about those unique times we had together. and to laugh /cry with and the long time friends we so dearly remember.
