Oh my goodness. I just found out today when I tried texting Bob. Carl and I thought they were still in Florida. I'm so very distressed. Bob and I worked together at Pall Corporation and Carl and I often went to dinner with Bob in Merilyn over the past few years. We thought they were still in Florida. I am so sad....Our love to Merilyn

Bob was a client ,but more than that a friend of ours for 20 years . We were so shocked and saddened by the news of his passing. He will be so missed by us ! We are so sorry for your family ,he was a great man and friend and always made us smile John And Kym Bencivenga

I was sooo distressed to hear this tragic news earlier today. Bob was such a super guy. I have nothing but fond memories of all my years working both for and with Bob throughout my career at Pall. My most heartfelt and deepest condolences to the entire Simkins family regarding this most tragic loss. May the wonderful memories serve as a constant source of smiles as well as continued inspiration that adds to his legacy. May Bob RIP!

Bob was the one person who acctually asked me to move to NY. A big step for a Swiss guy...... I only knew him before from several meetings and than was asked to go to NY and look at the company. In fact it was not an easy decision moving with the family but at the end I did it because of Bob. He was such a warm person and, opposed to most I got introduced to, he cared and was present. He really gave me the feeling he is interested in my to work there and in me as a person. Beside all the hard working we did, he was just still a human and cared about the person behind the worker and if I can as a manager be only a bit like him, I am very proud. I wish the family all the strength in this so sad time Frank

I've had the great pleasure and privilege of working with Bob for many years at Pall Corp. - in the heyday of the Pall Industrial Hydraulics Corporation. In fact, he hired me directly from my previous post at SLS. He was of great help and personal assistance in facilitating my move from LA to Long Island, taking great personal care in my family's well being. It was under his direct personal direction and guidance that I made my first steps as a scientist working directly for a sales division. He was an awesome guy to work with and work for and I have learned a lot from him. We kept in touch to this very day and he left many a great notes on my FB and Insta pages. My deepest condolences to His Family - Rest in Peace Bob, you will be well remembered. With Very Best Regards, John

I had the pleasure of working for Bob Simkins at Pall Corporation from the mid 1990's onward. Bob has and awesome sense of humor, personality, and management style. He will be sorely missed by many. Rest in peace.
