Truly a loving grandparent to myself and my older brother. She always carried a strong presence with her full of kindness and wisdom; certainly something she has passed down to her children and grandchildren. I'll miss you, Nana

For Mary Ellen & the Entire Hughes-Croft Family:
"Hoppity" was always the heart of your family-I have many, many happy memories of her during all the times we shared as we were growing up-during school, after school, and especially when we were in High School-once we started driving, we loved to do her errands. She always took the time to listen to us and offer advice, which we knew all too well was from her heart.
And what a great cook she was-the best meatballs & lasagne in Northport were made by her two hands!
Her love lives on in all of you-her family! Her example of hard work, God, and family is truly a testament of her character.
In Deepest Sympathy,
Donna & Pat Scudieri & family
