Regina A. Wendell, 96, of Melville left her family for Heaven on March 15, 2021. Beloved by all and affectionately known as “Mom, Nana, and Jean;” her spirit and limitless energy were a constant source of wonder to anyone who was blessed enough to have been in her presence. Her beaming smile and contagious laughter were constant reminders that life is worth celebrating at every turn. Jean selflessly dedicated much of her life volunteering her time and energy to St. Elizabeth’s Church in Huntington Station. Her ceaseless commitment to her faith and those around her will leave a lasting impression on those she loved for generations to come. Her family loves and misses her tremendously... but is thrilled she is finally back with “Roy Boy” and able to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day with him again in Heaven.
