Douglas A. Byrnes, MD of Huntington, on April 16, 2021, 71 years of age. Beloved husband of Kathleen. Loving father of Elizabeth DiRaimo, Luke Byrnes and Erin Mueller. Cherished grandfather of 6. Loving brother to Barbara Flaherty. Dr. Byrnes began his career at Huntington Hospital in 1982 and served as a member on the Board of Directors and as Medical Staff President from 2010 to 2012. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-5 & 7-9 PM with Funeral Mass Wednesday 10am Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 53 Prospect Rd. Centerport, NY 11721. Burial to follow Northport Rural Cemetery.
