My dearest friend, I will miss you so much, especially our daily chats since the Covid started. You were always optimistic and never complained. You loved a good French joke. You were caring (meals on wheels for 20 years.) You never missed your Sunday mass which brought you peace and joy. You will stay in my heart forever. Au revoir Corinne,

I won’t forget her ‘OuYou!’ shouted through Daphne’s phone while we were in our work truck nearly every day when we were working together. It still makes me smile. I got to know Corinne, as the mother of my best friend, as one of the toughest and kindest ladies I’ve met. I know where her kids get their strength. Hearing about her life and getting to know her was a blessing. She would share stories and laughs with Daphne and I before we’d head out downtown, have a glass of wine with us and just chat. She spoke from experience, she was real, and was never judgemental. I could tell the way she spoke she wanted happiness for her kids, she loved them all so much and she wanted them to be happy. I’m sending so much love to her kids and grandkids, she’ll always be with you and she will not be forgotten.
