Joan was such a gentle and kind-hearted lady. I had the pleasure of working together with her on the Justice and Peace Committee at St. Philip Neri and we were in the same Small Christian Community. She was always so lovely in appearance and spirit. I admired her greatly, and valued her opinion and spiritual guidance. She is surely with God now. My sincere condolences to her family.
