Obituary of Ann M. Abbatecola

At the age of 96, Ann Abbatecola was reunited in heaven with her husband Frank Abbatecola. Frank had passed away 54 years earlier at the age of 42. Ann lived a long and happy life often surrounded by her children and their children. The family gatherings she enjoyed so much kept growing as Ann grew older.

Ann passed away on December 12th, 2021 at St. Johnland Nursing Center in Kings Park, NY. She is survived by her 5 children, Christine (John) Petrone, Frank (Maureen) Abbatecola, Mary (Stephen) Schlotter, Robert (Jeanne) Abbatecola and Joseph Abbatecola.

Ann was a beloved Grandmother to 9 grandchildren and Great-Grandmother to their 10 children. Ann or Annabelle (which was her formal name that she didn't use much) was born in 1924 and was 1 of 6 children raised in Flushing, NY by her mother Genieve Carroll Miller and father Alphonse Miller. She enjoyed a beautiful and simple life in the seaside town Northport, NY.
