Mrs. Muldoon was a kind and nurturing second mother to me, and I cherish the memories of the many days and nights I spent in the Muldoon household. Whether teaching us to jump rope or play canasta, she made sure Pat and I had fun. I still remember enjoying Helen’s big Sunday morning breakfasts after sleep-overs. I am grateful that I had someone like her to help make my childhood a happy one - and even more grateful that she raised her daughter to be such a wonderful friend.

Helen Muldoon was a close friend of my mother before she passed in 1969. I have known her my whole life. She was like a second mother to me. She was a very giving and loving person. I have wonderful memories of her and will miss her very much, - Alan Walbaum
