Obituary of James J. Kelleher

Kelleher, James J. of East Northport passed away March 20, 2022, at the age of 83. A U.S. Army Veteran, an electrical engineer by trade, and a lover of everything in nature, Jim was admired by many for his kindness toward people and animals and his good-spirited sense of humor. A long-time resident of East Northport, he also spent much of his time in the Adirondacks, camping, skiing, and canoeing at Indian Lake. Jim was a loving father to Kathleen Johnson and Eileen Kelleher and devoted grandfather to Kaitlyn Johnson. A private celebration of Jim's life will be held by his family, and arrangements entrusted to Nolan Funeral Home. Donations in his name to The Little Shelter in Elwood, NY would be greatly appreciated.
