Dorcas and I grew up together on Cornell Street in Northport. We were young girls who played make-believe, dressed her cat in baby clothes and took her for a walk in my brother’s baby carriage. My heart is breaking today to think that she is gone. So sweet, such a bright smile. The world isn’t the same without her.

As cousins we grew up close and kept connected throughout the years. Dorcus was the jokester making us laugh. She's always a beautiful, fun, caring soul. She will be missed but remembered fondly.

My best friend, I am beyond lucky to have you as my friend. Memories more than I can write about, from shopping, to lunch, to driving to work or should I say sliding to work, to just spending time together. The best of all was not only that we are friends so are Kevin and Jim. We certainly had lots of fun and lots of laughs. How we miss you... How we wish we could see you...
