It was an honor to have known Gloria and to have loved her. She had a way of captivating you with stories of her youth, but at the same time always imparting a valuable life lesson. She taught me a great deal about life along with the simple things like cooking,decorating and even the correct way to dress. It was always done through examples filled with love and laughter. She will be greatly missed by all. More importantly though, she gave a little piece of herself to each of us to carry inside. We are all a better person for having known her. I will always treasure my time spent with her. Love, Anne

To my dear friend Beth and the Giaquinto Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I am so glad I got to meet and spend a little bit of time with your Mom over the past few years in Northport before she moved to Florida. Beth, I know where you get your beauty, intelligence and tenacity. May peace be with you knowing that you cared so deeply for your mom and helped her tremendously. I was always impressed at how you juggled your career in New York, and drove out constantly to make sure she was ok in every possible way! Grandma Gloria not only was and is my ideal example of what it means to be an amazing human, but exemplified the power of being a woman. In the time Carson was so blessed to know “googaa” she learned love, kindness, Italian traditions, and the strength of being a woman. Since her passing, Carson has prayed everynight thanking God for her and for our Lord welcoming Googaa into His kingdom. Those who were lucky enough to know my grandmother all are deeply saddened, yet we know she and grandpa now can reunite in Christ’s kingdom. Gloria was smart, sassy, hilarious, straight forward and most of all a kind and loving person …until we meet you again we will make your recipes, tell your stories, and speak about you and your wonderful imprint you made here on earth, and like the movie we all used to watch (its a wonderful life) … the next bell i hear i know without doubt that you’re getting your wings….
