Obituary of Edward H. Gradel

Edward H. Gradel of Centerport, NY on July 26, 2023.  Beloved husband of Kathleen for 66 years.  Devoted father of Russell (Fran), Glenn (Dale), Tommy (Beth) and Peggy (Jim).  Cherished grandfather of Melissa, Katie, Jaclyn, Alexandra, Jillian, Doug, Jimmy, Russ and Kimberly.  Adored great grandfather of Charlie, Ryan and Avery.  Edward was a proud Marine Veteran, serving in Korea.  A Centerport resident for 63 years, he was an active volunteer in the community with the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, the Northport VA and Tri Village Little League.  Edward was a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and St John’s University.  He was an employee at Pfizer for 35 years.  Visitation Sunday 4-8pm at Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue Northport, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10:00am at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Centerport.  Interment to follow with Marine Honors at Calverton National Cemetery.
