Uncle Johnny, Thank you for making the trip to say good bye to my Dad, you are such a great uncle, I’ll always remember coming to Long Island and going sailing on your beautiful wooden sail boat . It was so much fun ! I always admired you and look to seeing you again. I love you uncle Johnny, Joel ❤️ To aunt Joanne and my cousins I’m sorry for your loss and hope we can see each other again. your husband/father was truly a blessing to you all and he was truly blessed by you ❤️

A brief visit with Joann and Cousin Johnny at Walnut Beach Milford, Ct. in November 2021. We were returning Family Photos from years ago. We enjoyed seeing our parents from younger days. Johnny will be missed.

Joann , Jackie, Peter and all the extended family, our deepest sorrow and prayers are with all of you. John was and will always be in our hearts, an amazingly wonderful individual, friend, mentor, father and so very special to each of us. We will feel his presence on every peaceful beach walk, magnificent sunset and joyous family occasion. That smile and warm hug he always greeted you with would fill the room with such warmth and joy. We will dearly miss you John and will carry your love and passion to all those around us. Love Pete, Dorothy, Maxwell, and Nicholas.

Mary-Ellen and I are so sorry to learn of Cousin John's passing. What a great guy! He was 10 years older than me, so a great role model when I was a little kid visiting Long Island- Central Islip, Baiting Hollow, and East Quogue. His father and my father were brothers, and had a great love of all things Scotch- meat pies, a thick brogue, and jokes from their father only they could understand. His love of the ocean- sailboats, salt water, sunny beaches, and occasional fog carried him through the years. I'm sure there will be sand in his toes in the next life. RIP John- we'll miss you! My Uncle John, Thanks for all the things you did that we were a part of growing up. It was a special time while growing up coming to visit Grandma and Grandpa Craig and seeing you and your family every summer when we would come. You were very special in your own way.. Your house in Port Jeff was an interesting house and I enjoyed being there. The sail boat was special, and when my dad was helping you start the engine for the first time, I so wanted to be in the boat with you and dad to help, but for safety reasons you wouldn't let us in. I was bummed out about having to stay out, but hearing the sputtering of the engine trying to come to life was exciting for me. When we were able to go out on it in the sound was extra special even more so, as all the work you put in it made it all the better. .And a special thanks to you and Katie for taking my wife and I to ALL the places we went as kids so my wife could see them first hand. Now she can make the connections to all the stories I have told her. I love you uncle John. I love you, all my cousins. Joanne, thank you for making my uncles life whole.
