John, Kelly, Brian, etc.,had so many good memories. Garvin’s was a fun place to be. Hanging out with you John, was always a joy. God bless you, thank you for the laughter and love we all shared. Remember you saying once I’m not an owner of Garvins no one will remember me. Well you were wrong. We all miss you as a friend and great person. RIP. Will see you on the other side ❤️

I just heard the very very sad news. My love and prayers go out to Jane, Max, Shannon and the family. I haven’t seen John in a long time but I do think of him often. I worked at Garvin’s for many years. I shared lots of laughs and good times with John. John was a kind giving man. He helped me when my dad passed away and when I got married. Always giving never asking why. He will be missed. Love and prayers Leona

I just heard this sad news . John was a great friend and I will never forget the years we played music at " Garvin"s Roadside Attractions " .... No one made me laugh as much as John. He had a heart of gold and those years back then were the best of my life... My deepest condolences to Jayne, Max Shannon and the whole Garvin family .

I also wanted to ad a time when John really stepped up as a true friend back in 1997. My mom was of her deathbed at the Huntington Hospital and when John found out he showed up with delicious food all hot and ready for us to eat while we were on the vigil for my mom . We were all so very touched by his thoughtful generosity ! Thanks so much Johnny Garvin ! i'll never forget you !

I'm so sorry to hear that John passed away. Our friendship started at Dodd junior high and continued through high school. We failed math and attended summer school together!! He will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences to his family. Rest in Peace John.

I’m so sad to hear of John’s passing. We were friends in high school. He was funny, adorable and kind. Even after all these years , I can envision him in the hallways of FHS…always smiling even after all of these years. May he rest peacefully.

I am truly saddened by John’s passing he was a fine Man and I always considered him a great friend, I worked for John and his brother Mike at Garvins for many years and will always treasure the time spent there we had many good times I always enjoyed his humor even though we lost touch over the years I always considered he and Jayne as FAMILY.
