Oh Barbara and family,
I'm so very sorry for your loss, may Steven rest in peace. Steven was a great person, full of creativity, warmth, sense of humor and a great conversationalist. I will remember him fondly.

Steven and I were close friends as little kids. We played baseball, football, basketball, stoop ball etc. We often had sleepovers and loved watching Brigitte Bardot movies as teenagers! We kept in touch fir many years. He was a great guy!

Steve and I were roommates for 2 years 55 years ago. Memories are plentiful, funny, and showed how immature 2
20 year old college kids could be. Fortunately the statute of limitations has run out and I don’t think we’re wanted anymore. I remember breaking into the kitchen after closing and grabbing anything edible. When we moved into
our 6 bedroom ski house ,I clearly remember the night you came home and told there were FBI agents looking for us at the diner. Surely this had to be wrong. Apparently the government had us pegged as the biggest drug dealers in NH. We immediately went to the diners and I figured the 3 men wearing suits and ties(it is 1969) were feds. I told them they were wasting their time because at best we were only the 4th biggest on campus. They didn’t appreciate my humor but I thought it was hysterical. I also can’t forget visiting you in the hospital. You tore ligaments trying to ski. I wore. Shirt, tie
And sport coat ( all borrowed) . I was reading your chart next to the bed when the interns came by for rounds. I started barking orders about private room, better diet…. I think the request for sponge baths every 6 hours might have been a little much. We lost one of the really good guys. Miss you buddy…RIP… Louie….aka- Marvin

Remembering you, and all the wonderful lunches we had together, through the years. You always had that zest for life and a sparkle in your eyes. Lots of laughter. Good memories.... Going back generations..... Kim & Beverly Wegener
