Obituary of Paula Claire Dittmar Pinkes

Paula Claire Dittmar Pinkes, born on January 31, 1953, in Greenlawn, New York, peacefully passed away on February 6, 2024.

She is survived by her husband Vincent, and her loving sisters Dale Berner and Jean Schulz. Paula was cherished by her many nieces and nephews.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Claire Dittmar, her sister Carol Hehir, and brothers Bob Suthers & Fred Dittmar.

Paula dedicated herself to caring for others as an LPN at Huntington Hospital and in Juno, Alaska, before retiring to Hanceville, Alabama.

Notably, Paula provided care to Mother Angelica in her final days. She was known for her faith, selflessness, kindness, and unwavering
love.

Paula also had a deep affection for animals.

A Spring burial is being planned at Pinelawn Cemetery.
