Alan was a very caring, thoughtful and fun person. I will miss our weekly phone calls over the years. I found him to be always willing to help when asked. In particular he helped me with his expert car mechanic skills when we had to secretly" disable" my 87 year old mom , Aunt Anne's, car. Williston Park car insurance claims decreased thereafter . Elizabeth , AJ and lil Joe were his pride and joy
