Dorothy was unstoppable, accomplished, vibrant, adventurous, strong, loving, compassionate and competitive on and off the tennis court and golf course. She was a force who lived, loved and played with everything she had. She was important to so many, to each in their unique way. She was a cheerleader, a hero, a confidant, an advocate, a mentor, a loyal wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
As a grandmother, her love, pride and devotion were inspiring and limitless. As a mother, she led by example, and guided each of her girls to grow into smart, capable, loving, successful and independent women. As a mother-in-law she felt blessed to have two sons that are as committed to their families and daughters as she was.
Lastly as a wife, she found her person in Bob. They were fiercely committed to each other and their family. They shared a love of bringing people together, laughing, continuing traditions, creating new ones, and were always willing to help, no matter what was needed.
Dorothy will be deeply missed, but we are sure Bob is so happy to have her back, especially in time to celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary. They were never better than when they were together.
