Obituary of Madeline Parizzi

Our loving mother, Madeline Parizzi, 93, died peacefully at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged in Huntington, NY on June 22, 2024.

Madeline is survived by her three daughters, Doris, Nora, and Nancy – as well as her eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Madeline was warm-hearted, full of laughter and life. Madeline's smile was contagious. Always up for anything, Madeline loved singing, dancing, and having fun with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor. In her later years, she'd greet us with an odd joke and we'd all burst out laughing. Her favorite saying was "okee dokee"– and not before long, she had the entire community repeating it back to her. She would have celebrated her 94th birthday this August. We will miss her beyond words.

The memorial service will be held on July 20, 2024 at 3:00pm at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church at 53 Prospect Rd, Centerport, NY. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Joseph's Home for the Aged at 350 Cuba Hill Rd, Huntington, NY 11743.
