I realize that this is late, but I just found out about Bob. I regret that we never kept in touch after graduating from Manhattan in '67--he was a good friend in college.

Gosh, it's hard to put into words the time we all spent on Eaton's Neck.
So many memories of Bob and the family come to mind.
Hopefully memories will be what will get Anne and the kids through all of the difficult months ahead.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone.

I keep trying to accept that you're gone but I know that you're really still here with all of us. You shared so much of yourself with everyone in life, that you remain alive in our thoughts and deeds - how you shared yourself with us and how you influenced us. I find myself over the past week asking myself "What would Uncle Bob have done?". I smile a lot more, tell more jokes and I am kinder to everyone. Next week I'll give blood even though I'm nervous.
Uncle Bob, I'm glad I could give you "flower" and will miss you forever.

What impressed me most about Bob, is how much he cared about others. Bob was committed to his profession, and to the NY Water Environment Association, he had a passion for education. He stepped in whenever possible to help in anyway he could, whether it was on the awards committee, the Long Island Board, or working to get training to operators. It was a bright spot in the day, to hear his voice on the phone. He truly made a difference during his lifetime. We'll all miss him!

Mr. C~ I can not express how much I will miss you!! You have welcomed me into this wonderful family as one of your own. Your smile, embrace, helping hands and healing words will stay with me forever. I couldn't wait to become your daughter-in-law and finally call you Dad (like you always insisted). Stephen & I don't know how we are going to go on without you. But you can count on us to take care of Mom. We miss you so much! Love you...

Bob was a wonderful caring person. A great boss and a terrific friend. His smile and warm heart showed through in everything he did. I will miss our Vermont stories and meetings on the ferry heading north. When he spoke of his family his eyes would light up. He will always have a special place in my heart. God bless to Anne and family.

I had the honor of working with Bob for well over 25 years. I said worked with as he made you feel like a co-worker and not a boss/subordinate relationship. Bob was instrumental in seeking upgrades for those on the lowest rung of the pay scale and together we (along with the late Ernie Lisi) went up against the Suffolk County Salary Wage and Appeals Board. We were able to bring some pay equity to the fellows in the Operations staff. Bob was a devote Christian and this was always on display with his easy going nature and constant smile. It was a honor for me to know him and to to share many a laugh with him. Bob made a tough job enjoyable and though he retired, his presense was missed.

"Bobby" was always a friend, from grammar school at St. Andrew Avellino to high school at Regis. He was a real straight shooter and all who knew him will miss him.
I'm very glad I got to see him again back in April at our 45th class reunion. Who would have thought that would be the last time?
Rest in peace, Bobby,,,

When I started doing the sewer contracts for the Law Dept. Bob was my saving grace. He was always willing to help me and even gave me his cell phone number so I could reach him at any time. When things would get a little crazy he was always able to put things into the proper perspective. He spoke often and lovingly of his family and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him.

I am deeply saddened and overwhlemed by the news of Bob's passing. I have known him over 20 years and have so many great memories. I always remembered his birthday because it was the day after mine and we ALWAYS wished each other a Happy Birthday. Many years ago I used his timeshare in Lake Tahoe to go skiing. We always talked about our love for the sport. I will always remember his kindness and generousity along with his smile. I will miss him very much! My deepest sympathy to his family.

Although many of my memories deal with work and sewers the fact that the visitation is on the Cow Harbor route reminds me of the few times we either pracitced the run or did the actual race. Those are the things that matter most in the memory. Not to be taken lighty or forgotten however is all the help at work either 35 years ago or updating the Sewer Agency into the 21st Century. Bye for now.
