Miltner, Richard - 71 of Mattituck formerly of Greenlawn passed away August 11 after a courageous battle with MDS (Myleodysplastic Anemia). Beloved Husband of Marilyn. Loving Father to Nancy Helms, husband Bob, Debra Dekrone, husband Tom, Richard Miltner, wife Barbara, and Robert Miltner, wife Lisa. Devoted Poppy to Michele, Alycia, R.J., Allie, Marissa, James, Dani, Cassie, Samantha, Taylor, Zachary and Matthew. Survived by his brother Al Miltner and wife Lou, Many nieces and nephews and Devoted Aunt Florence Tilden, Predeceased by his Mother Marguerite by one hour on the same day. Retired Proprietor of Miltner & Sons in Greenlawn for 40 years, 3rd generation business of his Dad, Uncle and now his Sons. Valued employee of Orient Yacht Club. Member of Centerport Yacht Club & Greenlawn Fire Department. He will be missed by all who knew and Loved Him. His quiet calmness, sense of humor and bravery in adversity will be remembered. The best husband, father, grandfather and friend, may he rest with the Lord who called him home too soon.
